A better answer to “What should we do?”
ScotlandScene is a new, independent guide designed to make finding a good day or night out feel less like work.
Why it exists
There are plenty of listings. The hard part is choosing.
Events are scattered across venue pages, ticketing sites, social feeds and local calendars. ScotlandScene brings the useful details together, then adds the judgement a database cannot: what suits the mood, what works nearby and what is worth travelling for.
This is not a ticketing company and it is not part of a large media group. It is an independent, self-funded project being built carefully from the ground up.
What it should do for you

- Listings
- A listing is information, not an endorsement. Editorial recommendations are identified separately.
- Paid promotion
- Sponsors and paid placements are labelled clearly. Payment never buys a Scene Pick.
- Corrections
- If a time, price or status is wrong, tell us. It will be checked and corrected as quickly as possible.
- Your location
- Location is used to make results useful. ScotlandScene will not sell precise location data.
